the disintegrating body of Ramesses II,

the Great who, preserved centuries, began to

really rot in the Egyptian Museum.

Said Giovanni Belzoni, My weight bore on the body of an Egyptian,

crushed it like a band box. I sunk among broken mummies with a crash,

bones, rags, wooden cases every step I took, I crushed a mummy.
